FOR VISITORS.
Firstly, you can find all of the category and sub category pages in this wiki by clicking Index, (see left under the Wiki Tool Box), which is the overall site index page. You will have access to all content, but until you log in as a member, (it's free), you will be unable to add content or make comments .
FOR MEMBERS/CONTRIBUTORS.
1. You need to log in, (top left of this page), before you can interact/post new content in this wiki. However you can read all content.
2. After log in, go to Index under the Wiki Tools Box (left) to see what content we have so far. The general idea is that if there is already an existing category or sub category (or even sub sub category) covering your subject, then you simply add extra paragraphs with your new postings [or perhaps additions or comments on others postings].
3. This wiki is not a discussion forum, (see the excellent Ozark carers network below for that). Here we expect to see information of value to other carers, or perhaps alternate views on various practices.
GENERAL
4. Remember that wikis are anarchic, so that anyone can add to or amend your postings. This is both the great strength and the great weakness of these systems. Carers are sensitive people, so please use great care here, and be careful not to offend others who post in equal good faith to yours.
5. You can improve a postings readability, and add images and also links, by using the 18 small icons above the text box you will see when editing a page or making a new page
6. You can edit any page, (add to, delete sections, or change it), after first clicking the ‘edit this page’ tab above the text box, typing in your entry, previewing how it looks, and then clicking save.
7. When beginning new pages, (and you are a little unsure of what you are doing the first time), you will also see an option on the left of the page to go to a ‘sandbox’, where you can try things out, without them being permanent.
8.If you need further advice or wish to offer ideas, do email us.manager@greypath.com.
